Hermiston Education Foundation Annual Events

Hermiston Education Foundation has two key fundraising events each year: the HEF Beach & Beef dinner and auction and the HEF Fun Run. The dinner is held each February, and the run is offered in October.


Dancing with the Hermiston Stars

Hermiston Education Foundation has taken over the reins for the Dancing with the Hermiston Stars event for 2019. It is scheduled for Saturday, January 12, 2019, in the Hermiston High School.

HEF Beach & Beef

The 10th Annual HEF fundraising event will be Saturday, February 2nd, 2019, at the Eastern Oregon Trade & Event Center.Dinner is all you can eat crab and beef, and doors open at 5:00 p.m. Ticket information is coming soon!

2018 HEF Fun Run 

Thank you Hermiston School District staff and community members for taking part in the HEF Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, October 27! Congratulations to our award winners:

The Fisher family (pictured), winners of the best costume award and a $50.00 cash prize.

Desert View Elementary School won the Fleet Feet Award and a $100.00 cash prize for the most participation.

Sunset Elementary won second place and Hermiston High School was third for the number of staff participating in the run.
