Events

The Hermiston Education Foundation hosts events throughout the year that help to provide funding for out teacher grants. We thank everyone for your generous support!

This event, held in February, features all you can eat crab, beef kabobs and many delicious side dishes. The first annual dinner, held February 13, 2010, earned $17,500 for HEF grants! 

Hermiston Education Foundation 4th Annual Art Auction

When: Saturday, April 5th

Where: Hermiston Conference Center

Time: Doors open for art preview at 6:30 PM. Live auction begins 7:30 PM

Cost: Tickets are $30 for individual, couples $50 or table of 8 for $200. Tickets are available at the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce Office or Hermiston School District Office

2007-2008 Board Members

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees who represent a cross -section of the school community. The board will provide fiscal guidance and governance for the Foundation.

Hermiston School District has long maintained a tradition of excellent public education even as state support is shrinking. If we want to supply more than the basics affordable with state support, we must find additional resources.

The Foundation is designed to help members of our community, school staff, and alumni support educational programs.

What is the Hermiston Education Foundation?

Students watching a playThe Foundation is a 501c(3), non-profit public benefit corporation. Its purpose is to promote, facilitate and carry out academic endeavors aimed at enriching the student experience in the Hermiston School District.
