The Hermiston Education Foundation hosts events throughout the year that help to provide funding for out teacher grants. We thank everyone for your generous support!
Beach & Beef Dinner
This event, held in February, features all you can eat crab, beef kabobs and many delicious side dishes. The first annual dinner, held February 13, 2010, earned $17,500 for HEF grants!

Annual Fun Run and Walk
New Location: Hermiston High School - Kennison Field, 600 S 1st Street, Hermiston
The event will be Saturday, September 25, 2010, at 9:00am. It will start and finish at Hermiston High School Track and be held in conjunction with the Hermiston Health Fair. Race day registration begins at 7:45 am or can be completed on-line by clicking the link below. Ribbons will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in all of the age groups, 8 and under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Held in the fall, this event encourages families with children to walk or run. The event is for everyone who wants to support HEF - from people who want to walk to more serious runners. It is a 5K walk or run. Proceeds from this event will be used to promote and carry out general, academic and artistic endeavors aimed at enriching the education of students attending the Hermiston School District.
